Well, not exactly. But last week was a great week for this little old blog. After weeks of submitting photos to the food photography sites Food Gawker and Tastespotting, I finally made the cut! Yours truly is now featured on both sites, and I could not be more shocked or surprised or excited. (You like me, you really really like me!) The sites are full of some truly awe-inspiring photos, and I can’t believe I’m one of them.
I also received an email last week from the good people at Foodista, who wanted to let me know that they plan to feature my Mango Lassi recipe as the Drink of the Day on May 4. I encourage you all to check it out — Foodista is an awesome resource for recipes and general cooking info, and I’m so glad they found me.
Thanks to you all for being so amazing, sending me recipes and good wishes (and loads of free PR!). Your feedback makes all of this all the more fun, and your encouragement on those days when I’m just. so. tired. is literally what keeps me going. Thank you, thank you and I hope you’ll keep reading!
Congrats!!! I am new to blogging, and aspire to one day get my food on one of those site! I have work to do on my photography skills, but maybe someday! Great job!
